The biblical story of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Four young Jewish boys are carried into exile to the unholy city of Babylon. With God’s help and protection, they withstand the mighty King Nebuchadnezzar, the fiery furnace, the lion’s den, and the enemy’s persecution. In the style of Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, this production uses many contemporary styles of music. Musical numbers and dance reminiscent of Abba, Boys to Men, Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, the Charleston, a large country western party, and so much more! STP’s production of Daniel is the height of fun and entertainment, while profoundly staying true to the biblical account of these young men who resolved to stand strong in their commitment to their God – no matter what!
